Who is Red Leaf Film
Red Leaf Film started when two college friends realized they liked making projects and telling stories together. After both graduating from SVA in 2011 - Tyler Wallach and Lenny Emery continued to work together - creating dozens of film projects from award winning narrative films, nationally aired TV ads to music videos yielding millions of views. Both Wallach and Emery work actively directing and producing as well as having over a decade of experience working with clients from beginning to end on projects.
Tyler is a director and producer in the television and film industry. His job titles have spanned set decorator, model maker, prop master, costume designer, and special effects artist.
Within the commercial world, Wallach has worked with numerous name brands and companies, including; Sony, Apple, Brooks Brothers, Maybelline, Furla, The Big Apple Circus, Hasboro, and MTV.
Wallach has been the Production Designer and Art Director on over a dozen short films and 6 independent feature films. Tyler has produced and directed his own short films that have been accepted into film festivals worldwide.
He’s the grandson of the Oscar-winner Eli Wallach and Tony-nominated Anne Jackson. His father, Peter, is a two time Emmy-winner in special effects. Tyler is carrying on the family tradition.
When Lenny was 20 years old he would show up unannounced to commercial sets, introduce himself, and begin finding things to help out with. His first short film he produced (Fool's Day) was sold to New Line Cinema.
He directed his first TV ad at age 21 for the NHL Network. Lenny worked under Sante D’Orazio for 3 years editing multiple art films including GREEN DOOR which was screened at CHRISTIES and ART BASEL MIAMI as well as a documentary about the famed artist Julian Schnabel.
At 23 he was a partner in the Clio Awards, 25 became a jury member for the NBR Film Awards. By 2018 Lenny has directed over 30 commercials, 10 music videos and produced 15 narrative projects.
He has toured and performed with musical artists such as RUN DMC, Usher, DJ Cassidy and ASAP Ferg. His music festivals (NoEnds. and more) is partnered with X-Games and Adidas. He recently started an interactive video game museum in Brooklyn, NY. His first feature film (Rapid Eye Movement) he has produced is slated for 2019 release.
